Our School

Welcome to Mills, home of the Vikings!  We are a California Distinguished School and work hard to ensure that our students receive the best educational opportunities possible with a highly-qualified faculty and a staff that takes great pride in our school.

We are one of seven high schools in the San Mateo Union High School District.  Since SMUHSD is an open-enrollment district, Mills students come from the entire SMUHSD boundary area.

Mills students are dedicated to improving their school and larger community through participation in a wide number and variety of programs through athletics, clubs, service learning, and volunteerism.  We offer a broad curriculum that supports students in exploring their academic, personal, and career goals.  

Our school gives students the opportunity to investigate their passions through various coordinated opportunities in volunteering, tutoring, and concurrent enrollment community colleges, to name a few.
