Mr. Matt has taught high school arts since 2006. The first 16 years of his career was in San Francisco and he joined the Viking Ship in 2022. Throughout his career, he has led over 60 mural projects with students, won awards in San Francisco student exhibitions, has received numerous grants for student and community projects, wrote dozens of articles for the Art of Education University, was awarded a Community Legacy Award from Harvard University, and presented at various national art education conferences.
