Candace Thomas joined the district in 2018 after receiving a Master of Arts in Education from Stanford University. She piloted the Ethnic Studies program and taught World History and Advisory at Hillsdale High School from 2018-2022. In 2023, Candace moved to Mills High school where she teaches World History and U.S. History. Additionally, Candace serves as the Site Professional Development Coordinator, an Instructional Coach, and Site Leadership Team member at Mills.
Candace is a Master's candidate in the Principal Leadership Institute at UC Berkeley.
