Originally from the Big Island of Hawaii, I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology and environmental studies before moving to New York City, where I completed two master’s degrees—one in Science Education and the other in Psychology. After teaching in NYC for ten years, I moved to Millbrae and now teach AP Environmental Science and Biology at Mills. Beyond that, I am equal parts obsessed with space, the ocean, and dogs.
