Heart with text: Supporting our LGBTQIA+ Community
Supporting our LGBTQIA+ Community

We want to be clear in San Mateo Union High School District’s unwavering support of our LGBTQIA+ community as concerns and fears continue to surface from our community in the wake of recent presidential executive orders.

This District has protected, and will continue to protect the legal rights of our community. We remain steadfast in our dedication to ensuring the well-being of every student in our schools. SMUHSD’s values and policies remain consistent with our past practices.
